The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the registration deadline for Specialist Cadre Officer posts today (December 23). Aspirants who wish to apply
for the government recruitment exam and have not done so till now, can now register till January 2026. As per the new deadline, candidates now have time till January 5, 2026 to apply for the SBI SCO 2025 exam.

This time, the recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 996 posts in the organisation for several posts, namely VP Wealth (SRM), AVP Wealth (RM), and Customer Relationship Executive. While some of these vacancies are regular vacancies, others are from backlog. To be eligible for this recruitment drive, candidates should have a graduation degree from a government-recognised University or Institution to apply for the posts.
SBI Special Cadre Officer Registration: Steps to fill online application form
Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI, i.e. sbi.co.in.
Step 2: Click on careers link available towards the end of the home page.
Step 3: A new page will open where candidates will have to click on the 'current opening' tab.
Step 4: After that, click on the link provided for SBI SCO recruitment.
Step 5: A new page will again open where candidates will have to register themselves.
Step 6: Once registration is done, candidates can fill the application form. Complete the payment and click on submit.
Step 7: Download the confirmation page.
Step 8: Keep a hard copy of the same for further reference.
The application fee is Rs 750 for UR/ EWS/ OBC candidates and no fees/ intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
