The Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) result will be released anytime soon. For the past three years, the results have been released in the last and second-to-last
weeks of December. Earlier, the results were usually released in January of the next year. Candidates can expect the scorecards to be released this week. IIM Kozhikode has not announced the CAT result date for 2025 yet. The final answer keys are also expected to be released along with results. The final key will contain the revised status of questions and answers. The CAT exam was held on November 30, 2025, in three sessions. Following the pattern, IIM released the provisional answer key first and invited objections against the same.

How to Download CAT 2025 Result Online
- One should go to the official website iimcat.ac.in
- On the homepage, they should click on ‘CAT 2025 result download’
- Enter CAT ID and password
- Go to scorecard tab and download the PDF
- Click on final answer key PDF to download the same
- Take its printout for future references
Soon after the release of results, the IIMs and other participating institutes will begin their shortlisting and admission process. The provisional answer key was released on December 4, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until December 10.
CAT 2025 Analysis
CAT 2025 was conducted in three slots on November 30. The exam was held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am (Slot 1), 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (Slot 2), and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Slot 3). Overall, the paper comprised 68 questions across three sections—VARC, DILR, and QA—with a total duration of 120 minutes.
According to the feedback from candidates and expert analysis, CAT was moderately difficult overall and slightly tougher than CAT 2024. Slot 3 was considered moderate to difficult, with Quantitative Ability emerging as the toughest section. VARC ranged from easy to moderate, while DILR was moderate to difficult.
