NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again extended the choice filling facility for Round 1 till 11:59 pm of August
11 (Monday). "Dear Candidates, Choice filling facility for Round 1 has been extended till Monday Dated (11.08.2025) at 11:59 PM," the ticker message on the MCC website read. This extension comes a few days after MCC had earlier too extended the choice filling and choice locking facility. Before this, MCC had extended the deadline to August 7, at 1:30 pm due to technical glitches on the official website. This extension had given candidates additional time to select their preferred medical and dental colleges. Earlier, the NEET UG round one seat allotment list was scheduled to release on August 11. Once released, the NEET UG 2025 counselling list will be released at the official MCC website -- mcc.nic.in. The revised date and time of the NEET UG counselling result of first round has not been released yet.
Steps to check NEET UG counselling result
Step 1: Go to the official MCC website — mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result” link on the homepage.
Step 3: Log in with your NEET roll number and password or application number.
Step 4: Check the details of your allotted college and course.
Step 5: Download and save the seat allotment letter.
Step 6: Take the allotment letter to the allotted college for admission formalities and document verification.
Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must download their allotment letter and report to the assigned college within the given timeframe to confirm admission. Those who either do not get a seat or wish to try in subsequent rounds can participate in the next phase of counselling. The MCC will publish detailed reporting guidelines along with the results on August 11.
