Bengaluru rain woes
As the city witnessed heavy rain last week, the commuters complained about the waterlogging, overflowing drains, and fallen trees all over the roads. The rain not only brought relief from the heat but also created trouble for some.
Last Saturday, roads, including Outer Ring Road (ORR), Whitefield Main Road, and Siddapura, were submerged under ankle to knee-deep water, leaving motorists stranded and vehicles stalled. Commuters were stuck in traffic for hours in some stretches across the city, with gridlocks near Silk Board, Hebbal, and Majestic.
On Tuesday, one of the users on X complained about Bengaluru traffic, saying that there were not enough traffic police at Kundalahalli, and it took them one hour to complete a journey of one kilometre.
Another user wrote, "A Slight bit of rain, and a horrible hold up at the Kundalahalli bus stop area. 30 mins, no movement whatsoever."
