as the beautiful ‘Blood Moon’, lunar eclipse, took over the sky last night! The reddish-brown beauty that lasted for 82 minutes made the night rather special- as almost everyone who knew about it- did not miss their chance to gaze at the breathtaking phenomenon. Naturally, as soon as the ‘copper Moon’ lit the night sky up- not only did people rush to their roofs to take pictures and whatnot- but they also shared the rare sight on social media. However, along with magnificent pictures of the Lunar Eclipse– what seemingly made its way on the internet were hilarious memes on the ‘Blood Moon’. Seemingly, netizens were quick to joke on how everyone was turning into a photographer for the Moon, while some humorously shared pictures of oranges– comparing the fruit with Earth’s natural satellite. The Sunday Moon, on the other hand, was reportedly the longest since 2022 and was visible from Asia and parts of Europe, and Africa. The only thing that people needed to enjoy this lunar eclipse was a clear sky. This Blood Moon was also the first after July 27, 2018, when it was visible from every part of India. The Moon went into full eclipse from 11.01 PM to 12.23 AM.
