Bengaluru: Panic erupted in Bengaluru after an abandoned black suitcase was spotted at the KSRTC bus terminal on Tuesday evening, just a day after the Delhi
Red Fort blast in Delhi on November 10, said media reports. The item was found between 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm on Tuesday by locals, which caused speculations, filled with speculations, of its content. Bengaluru is currently on a high alert after a car blasted near Delhi's Lal Qila Metro Station, which claimed 12 lives. Later, police learnt that the bag belonged to two youths from Mauritius who had come to attend a wedding in Hassan. They had booked a room near Sakleshpur for Wednesday, but in their hurry to catch a bus, one of them accidentally left the suitcase behind at the terminal.
Delhi Red Fort Bomb Incident
On Monday evening (November 10), a powerful car explosion took place outside Lal Qila Metro Station in Delhi. The fire quickly spread to nearby vehicles, killing 12 people. Officials said the blast was so strong that its impact could be felt up to 200 metres away.
Investigators believe it might have been a Fidayeen (suicide) attack. They suspect that the mastermind, Dr Umar Un Nabi, may have driven the car near the Red Fort. Police have already made several arrests and are investigating possible links to a terror module that was recently uncovered in Faridabad.
