The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) schedule. As per the new calendar, the exam scheduled for April
9 has been discarded. The city intimation slips for the JEE Main 2026 session 2 exams scheduled for April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026, are available now. Candidates appearing for the BE, BTech, BArch, and BPlanning entrance tests can check and download their city slips through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their login credentials: application number and password. "The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for JEE (Main) –2026 Session 2. This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of JEE (Main) -2026 Session-2 shall be issued later," the official notice reads.
How to Download JEE Mains City Intimation Slip
Applicants can follow the given instructions to download the exam city slip:
- Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the JEE Main City Slip 2026 link available.
- Enter the application number and password.
- Click on the submit button.
- JEE Mains City Intimation Slip 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save it for future reference.

When to Expect JEE Mains 2026 Admit Card
NTA generally releases JEE Main admit cards 2026 at least 3-4 days before the scheduled exam. Therefore, candidates can expected their admit cards on either March 29 or 30, 2026. Once released, they can download them via NTA's online portal using application number and password.
On exam day, candidates are required to carry their JEE Mains 2026 admit card along with a valid ID proof to the exam hall.
