Keeping in mind the type of food experiments many are doing with croissants and with ‘Gulab Jamun’, it makes sense for food lovers not wanting to see any more
combinations that no one asked for! However, when this foreign man shared a ‘croissant and Gulab Jamun combination’, the internet reacted a bit differently. Taking to social media, the foreigner shared a clip, where he was seen making a croissant-shaped ‘Gulab Jamun’! “What if Gulab Jamun and a croissant had a baby?” The clip then showed the man making ‘Gulab Jamun’, only the shape was not the iconic circular one, but was croissant-shaped instead. The man then added some delicious-looking ‘chashni’ on the croissant-shaped ‘Gulab Jamun’, which further began to make the dish look an absolute treat. Unlike other ‘bizarre food experiments", this combination was quick to leave many impressed and even curious. Times Now could not confirm the details of the post. Check out the viral post: “What should I make next? Shaped like a croissant. Croissant dough. But made in the same way as gulab jamun. This is one of my favourite Indian desserts. This would go great with ice cream! Used my croissant off cuts to make this. Tasted amazing. Successful R&D day,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram by the handle ‘Joe the Tourier’. It was shared yesterday and pulled more than 34K views from people.
Internet’s reactions:
“That’s croissant shahi tukda,” a user said. “Then it will be shahi tukray,” commented the next person. “Isn’t this the same as Malpua ? Just shaped like a croissant. Anyways, it is looking really tasty,” commented the next person.
