The Mumbai police have tightened security as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on Wednesday (October 29). The authorities have enforced
a strict no-fly zone across the city by imposing a ban on drones, paragliders, and balloons, among others.

As there will be a huge presence of VIPs, the police officials have issued a prohibitory order, citing potential threats from terrorists and anti-social elements. The ban is extended to the jurisdiction of several police stations, including Goregaon, Vanrai, Jogeshwari, MIDC, Dindoshi, Sahar, Vile Parle, Andheri, and Aarey.
PM Modi's Mumbai visit
PM Modi is scheduled to address the Maritime Leaders Conclave and chair the Global Maritime CEO Forum at India Maritime Week 2025 in Mumbai's Goregaon East.
The five-day India Maritime Week was inaugurated on Monday, October 27, by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, with an aim to position India as a global maritime power.
The event is expected to draw top international maritime leaders, policy makers, and investors.

Mumbai Traffic Alert
The Mumbai Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions in parts of Goregaon East to manage vehicular flow. The Jogeshwari Traffic Division issued the advisory, urging residents to avoid some routes and take alternative routes during PM Modi’s visit.
As per the advisory, the vehicles will be restricted from entering the road from Mrinalatai Gore Junction to NESCO Gate. Moreover, the right-turn route from Ram Mandir Road to NESCO Gate will also be closed.
The service lane from Hub Mall to NESCO or Jaycoach Junction will be closed to all traffic. Moreover, the road from NESCO Gate to Mrinalatai Gore Junction has been made one-way.
