Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for admission to Open and Distance Learning programmes to August
31, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for preferred programmes on the official website: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. It must be noted that no applications will be entertained after the deadline. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment to apply. Documents Required to Fill IGNOU Application Form Candidates must keep the following documents ready while filling out the form:
- Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)
How to Apply for IGNOU Online ODL Programmes
Candidates can follow the steps below to apply online:
- Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the New Registration link
- Step 3: Complete registration by entering basic details
- Step 4: Now log in with registered username and password
- Step 5: Fill out the application form
- Step 6: Upload necessary documents and pay the required fee
- Step 7: Submit the form and take a printout
