Letter to CM Siddaramaiah
Earlier this week, the residents of Bengaluru issued a warning to boycott tax payments if the civic infrastructure in India’s IT Hub does not improve. In an official letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the Individual Tax Payers Forum, representing residents and taxpayers, accused civic authorities of poor planning and execution of road white-topping and stormwater drainage projects, which frequently result in flooding during rains.
The forum further suggested several measures, including a scientific audit, to enhance road quality.
