The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched the 'Save democracy and Remove Anarchy' movement in the country. The objective of the movement is to make people
aware of the disinformation campaign against Special Intensive Revision by the opposition parties, especially the Congress. The leaders of the party have been tasked with exposing the fake narratives and lies spread by the opposition on the SIR process and thereby try to shake faith in democratic institutions. The party, sources said, will also highlight its stand against illegal infiltrators in the country. Another aim is to provide a substantial counter to the opposition-backed protests against the election commission. “It was Congress that censored the press and imposed the Emergency. Gandhis also suspended and dismissed fairly elected governments too. Hypocrisy died a thousand times when Congress took to the streets against the SIR process, questioning the Election Commission,” added a senior BJP leader. The party is set to establish that the opposition is against a stable government, is undermining the achievements of the country and is motivated by the agenda of Regime Change. Apart from this, the leaders will also focus on achievements of the country in fields of defence, Science, space, technology, agriculture and social welfare. The party has decided to organize press conferences from the national to district level, and the team will be headed by National media convenor Anil Baluni and media in-charge Ashish Agarwal. The padyatra will be organised by BJP RS member Tarun Chugh, Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and National General Secretary Harish Dwivedi. The padytar will focus on saving democracy and removing mobocracy. The target set for every padyatra is 10000 people. For deeper discussion and debate, a team with national general secretaries like Biplab Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia and Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Kiren Rijiju apart from post holders Rohan Gupta and Anil Antony will discuss SIR with intellectuals and masses. Discussions will be held under ‘Democracy versus Anarchy’ themes in various schools, universities, coaching institutes and colleges. This team has BJYM president Hemang Joshi, national general secretary Sunil Bansal, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, national secretary Swadesh Singh and MP Tejashvi Surya. A competition will also be arranged on the same theme, and the team to undertake this activity will have Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Mansukh Mandaviya, BJYM president Hemang Joshi and others. To drive home the point that SIR is to eradicate infiltrators from the electoral list, an outreach to influencers is also planned. The team has Sanjay Bhatia, Teerath Singh Rawat, D Purandeshwari and Dr Bhola Singh. Social media will be looked after by in-charge Deepak Mahske. Binay Singh and Shiv Shakti Bakshi will look after publications in this regard. Several slogans too have been finalised by the party during these events. These include- Loktantra ki Hunkar, Arajakta ki Haar, Loktantra ki Pukar, Ghuspaithiyon par Prahar, Awaz uthao, democracy bachao, Janadesh ka apman nahi sahega Hindustan, Vipaksh ki kaisi neeti, Arajakta hi Rajniti.
