The Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) "School Theek Karo" campaign continues across India with convenor Abhijeet Dipke and Spokesperson Saurav Das sharing
videos of students facing difficulties in reaching their schools. Das, in his X post, shared a video of young students crossing a mud-filled lane on their way to school. He wrote, "very sad state of affairs. Bachon, don’t worry. Your older brothers and sisters are with you." Calling for a united front in order to fix the problem, he urges "cockroaches" in Bihar to help in providing stable roads for the kids to walk on, while asking the Chief Minister of Bihar to take cognisance of the matter. CJP founder Dipke also shared a video, showing school kids crossing a river to go to their school. The video shows young students walking across ankle deep water in Maharashtra's Hingoli district. He wrote, "students crossing rivers to reach school. Children studying in classrooms without roofs."
This comes amid the Delhi Police's likely decision to deny permission for the Cockroach Janta Party’s proposed September 5 protest march in New Delhi, reports suggest, as prohibitory orders remain in place and the force is taking a stricter approach in view of the violence that broke out during the group’s previous demonstration at Jantar Mantar.
The CJP has announced a 2.5-km march from India Gate to the Delhi Police Headquarters on Jai Singh Road on September 5. The protest is expected to include families of NEET aspirants who died by suicide, students, youth organisations and people who allege they were victims of police excesses during the July agitation.
