What is the story about?
The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has today (December 15) released the hall tickets for WBPSC Clerkship 2025 exam. Candidates who have
registered and are eligible for the exam can now download their admit cards/ hall tickets from the official website, i.e. psc.wb.gov.in. Candidates will have to key in their roll number or registration number and date of birth to login and check their admit cards. The Clerkship exam for Part 2 is scheduled on December 28, 2025 across the state.
WBPSC Clerkship Mains Exam 2025 Hall Tickets: Steps to download admit cards
Step 1: Visit the official website, i.e. psc.wb.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link provided for admit card download
Step 3: Key in your roll number or registration number and date of birth to login.
Step 4: Once logged in, your hall ticket for WBPSC Clerkship Mains Exam will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save the hall ticket for future reference.
Candidates should ensure that all the detailed mentioned on their hall tickets are correct, and there is no spelling mistake or factual error. If there is any error, candidates should inform the Commission immediately and get it corrected. Any candidate with erroneous admit card will not be permitted to the exam centre. It is also compulsory for candidates to carry their exam hall ticket and government approved ID card to the exam centre, as no candidate will be permitted to the enter the exam centre without producing the admit card and ID card first.
What is WBPSC Clerkship Exam?
The WBPSC Clerkship Exam is conducted by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) to recruit clerical staff for various departments and offices under the Government of West Bengal. This recruitment exam is conducted fill vacancies of lower division clerk (LDC) and similar clerical posts in state (West Bengal) government departments.
'Mains' is the second level of this recruitment cycle, the first being the 'prelims' stage. Candidates who clear the Prelims stage are the only ones who are deemed eligible to appear for the Mains exam.
Candidates selected through this exam typically work in state government offices, directorates and departments under the Government of West Bengal, and other administrative and clerical sections.
