Leave it to the internet to turn the saddest of situations into one of the hilarious ones. A video was recently shared on social media, in which a man
was recording an unusual Christmas present– a type of ‘gift’ that would have left anyone disheartened if that is what people would have received during office Christmas celebrations. However, since the incident was shared on the internet instead, netizens did quite well in dismissing the entire thing into nothing but a joke. Believe it or not, the present in question was a ‘brick’ that was neatly wrapped as a Christmas present for an employee. By the looks of it, the entire thing was part of the Secret Santa game that many organisations conduct around Christmas. Apart from its heaviness, it was also a little tear around the corner that ended up revealing what was inside the otherwise cute wrapping paper. As soon as the post on the same was shared online, it went viral and left netizens reacting. Most joked about the gift being a ‘multitasking tool’ as they suggested using it against ‘managers and bosses’, while some jokingly suggested ‘using’ the ‘gift’ while applying for leave. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “Gift me nikla bomb,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Ashwani dwivedi1321’. The post was shared 4 days ago and pulled more than 12K views from people.
Internet’s reaction:
“Sometime’s people and their humour really do impress me. I hope the gift was a prank and the Priyanshu guy will get a much better present than this. Also, merry christmas everyone,” a user commented.

“Manager k liye diya hoga (Maybe it is for the manager),” commented a second person in the comments. “I would have lost it if this is what I would have received from my Secret Santa,” added the next person.
“What is wrong with people? Not every joke is okay. Sometimes you need to understand when to stop,” added another person. “I like how the man is so casual about it, you really kept the brick back?” asked the next.
