Do you ever ponder why you can't study? Even after being in a similar environment as others who toil day and night in order to realise their dreams, what
is it that's stopping you from achieving your dreams? The answer lies in none other than you! Yes, both as a student and an aspirant, you're well aware of the hurdles coming your way and distracting you from attaining what you once dreamt of. If you're still unable to figure it out, delve deeper into the motivational and introspective insights shared by an educator named Prashant Kirad. If you're not getting the motivation to study, ask yourself, what are you doing except studies? What is your goal in life? Is it becoming a doctor, an engineer, or a civil servant, etc.? For all of these, you need to crack their dedicated exams, and that requires allocating a good amount of hours to study. If you still can't make yourself do it, here's what to do.
Fear of Failure
Sit alone in a room and introspect. Ask yourself, why don't you feel like studying? Is it fear that's stopping you? Fear of failure, a feeling that scares you, or the fact that you don't have enough time? Or do you doubt yourself into thinking you're just 'average' and cracking highly competitive exams is not for you? If that's scaring you away from studies, just figure yourself out how many days are left until the exam date. Is it 60 days or 90 days? Once you've decided, think about whether or not you can prepare and clear it within the given days. If you feel it's possible, just go for it, don't think much, and start preparing immediately. If something is still holding you back, just study for 30 minutes with full concentration and see how much you've learnt. You will definitely realise how much you can cover in 90 days.
Remorse of Wasting Time
If it's regret that's stopping you, regret of not studying since the beginning, regret of wasting so much time that could've been utilised for productive work, or of exams being too near, reflect upon it. Is there something that you can do about it, can you fix it? The answer will be no, you can't. Therefore, just forget it and start afresh. Instead of being baffled about where to start, follow the WWH (What, When, and How) strategy. That is, decide what to study, set a time for it, and look for the reference materials. Don't use multiple resources altogether; it will make things harder. Instead, plan beforehand which section/subject you wish to study from which book or YT channel, etc.
Addiction
Lastly, if it's addiction that's coming in your way, be it through social media or relationships, end it. Reducing it or not giving it less importance won't be enough, as you barely have a few days left. There is no harm in staying away from your weaknesses for a while. Try it yourself, and you'll feel more focused and productive than ever.
If you implement these rules wherever required, you will start getting the motivation to study.
