The National testing Agency (NTA) has activated the refund portal for NEET UG 2026 registration fee. NTA has made made the portal live on the official
NEET UG 2026 website, i.e. neet.nta.ac.in. Students will be given time till 11:50 pm of May 27 to fill in the details for the account in which they would want their NEET Ug registration fee to be refunded. "In continuation of the Public Notice dated 12.05.2026 regarding refund of examination fee for NEET (UG)-2026 candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) hereby informs all candidates that a dedicated facility has been made available on the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal for submission of preferred bank account details for processing of fee refund," an official notice by NTA stated. "Candidates may login to the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal using their login credentials and click on the refund link to access the refund portal, where they may submit their bank account details. Candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque, if they so desire, for ensuring accuracy of bank account details. After submission of the details by the candidate, the same shall be treated as final and no further changes shall be permitted thereafter. The candidates are required to fill the details mentioned at Annexure-I," the notice added. "The facility for submission of bank account details shall remain live from 22 May 2026 to 27 May 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Candidates are advised not to initiate chargeback for NEET (UG)-2026 Examination."

How to register for NEET UG 2026 Registration Fee Refund
Step 1: Login to the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal using your login credentials.
Step 2: Click on the refund link available on the portal to access the refund facility.
Step 3: Submit your bank account details for processing of the fee refund.
Step 4: Candidates may also upload a cancelled cheque (optional) to ensure accuracy of bank account details.
Step 5: Once submitted, the bank account details will be treated as final and no further changes will be permitted.
Step 6: Candidates are required to fill in the details mentioned in Annexure-I.
Students should note that this refund is limited to the candidates who registered for NEET Ug 2026 exam that was conducted on May 3, 2026.
