Iran has issued a fresh warning to countries in West Asia, saying they could be treated as "complicit" if the United States resumes major attacks on the country
using its military bases in the region. Tehran's Khatam al-Anbiya military headquarters warned that any renewed US strike could trigger "painful attacks" against American bases and interests across the region. "We warn that if the countries of the region – by continuing their dual policy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran – align with the Great Satan's aggression against a powerful and sovereign Iran they will all be considered complicit in this evil and can no longer expect restraint or decency from Iran's powerful armed forces," the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters said in a statement, as reported by Al Jazeera. The Iranian central military command warned that retaliation would be "without any limitations or considerations". "Any mistake will result in painful attacks," the statement said. Iran alleged that the United States has again "decided, with the green light from some regional countries, to resume actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran at a joint meeting in a European country." The warning comes as Tehran has sent seven conditions to the United States. The head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, said that Iran has conveyed its conditions for ending the war to the US via Qatar and it is waiting for President Donald Trump's response. Rezaei said they include ending the war on all fronts, releasing assets seized from Iran and ending the US naval blockade of Iranian ports. He also said Iran wants the fighting involving Yemen and Saudi Arabia to end. In recent weeks, the fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Iran-aligned Houthis has intensified, with the former carrying out airstrikes against Houthi positions and the group launching drone and missile attacks against Saudi territory.
