The Yamuna cruise has reached New Delhi from Mumbai, with plans for its launch scheduled within this month. The initiative aims to enhance riverfront tourism

Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra confirmed that the cruise accommodates 40 passengers and offers various onboard amenities, including music, entertainment, and food services. The service's inauguration is anticipated to be conducted by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.

Technical Preparations Underway

Minister Mishra indicated that most of the preparations for the cruise have been completed, with only a few technical tasks remaining. He expressed confidence that the cruise will be operational by the end of this month.

Broader Recreational Plans

Mishra elaborated that the cruise service is part of a larger initiative to develop a leisure and recreation hub along the Yamuna River. This development will extend beyond the cruise service to include water sports and various recreational activities.

The goal is to create an international-standard experience at affordable prices for residents of Delhi, enhancing public engagement with the river.

Environmental and Tourism Goals
