India's industrial activity gathered momentum in June, with the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) registering a 7.3 per cent year-on-year expansion,
marking its fastest pace in six months. The provisional figures released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) showed that the surge was led by a strong performance in manufacturing, electricity and gas supply, while mining and water-related sectors also contributed positively.
