A statewide Odisha Bandh has been called for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6 am to 2 pm by the Navnirman Krushak Sangathan (NKS), as a sign of protest over alleged mismanagement in paddy procurement, with political support from the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee.
