It just took a Bhel Puri worth Rs 20 to leave Indians yet again questioning the safety of their privacy! A social media post is moving around on the internet,
leaving many shells shocked and with a whole lot of questions. The post was shared by a Mumbai man, who recalled how a simple roadside snack ended up handing him the bank details of a random person. Allegedly, the man had bought Bhel Puri from a roadside stall, only for the snack to come wrapped inside a “2-page bank statement”. From the customer’s name and account number to their transactions, the “snack wrapper” had every detail that should not be out in the open. “Everything just out there like it’s normal,” the post wrote. The man then called “privacy” in India a “joke”, along with sharing a picture of the same. The post soon went viral, pulling many reactions. Most recalled similar instances, while others dubbed it a major reason behind frauds in India. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘Sudhanshu1414’. It was shared 2 days ago and pulled over 59 views from people. Internet’s reactions: “I've heard this happen with medical reports too. Maybe we need to start recruiting bhel puri bhaiyas as RAW agents,” a user said. “I was googling for something, and I got hold of Union bank employee salaries details of the last few years of an entire Zone,” added another person.
