In a major reshuffle, the Delhi High Court on Saturday transferred Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga, who had been hearing the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases
before the Special Fast-Track Court. The cases will now be heard by Special Judge Ajay Gupta. The transfer is part of a broader reshuffle announced by the High Court. Under the new postings, Judges Anu Grover Baliga, Vikas Dhull, Amit Bansal, Kiran Bansal, Pulastya Pramachala and Prashant Sharma have been designated as Special Judges to hear matters investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Following the reshuffle, Special Judge Ajay Gupta has been assigned charge of the Special Fast-Track Court dealing with cases registered under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, including the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases. The Special Fast-Track Court was constituted recently to ensure the speedy trial of cases involving alleged examination malpractices. Since its formation, Judge Anu Grover Baliga had been presiding over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak proceedings. With the Delhi High Court's latest transfer order, all pending NEET-UG 2026 paper leak cases before the Special Fast-Track Court will now come up before Special Judge Ajay Gupta.
