Using a broom to shoo it away or simply slapping a slipper on top of it– are mostly the ways people deal with cockroaches. However, if THIS ‘defect log
entry’ allegedly at an Air India flight is to be believed- a certain cockroach was dealt with in a rather gruesome and unheard manner. Taking to social media, a journalist recently shared a ‘cabin defect log entry’ allegedly of Air India, where the cabin had recorded about dealing with a cockroach that was found by one of their passengers. As per the recorded entry, the cockroach was ‘found alive’ by one of the guests on the flight. Believe it or not, but as per the same records, the cabinet allegedly ‘hanged’ the cockroach ‘to death’. “Cockroach hanged to until death’, the other entry read. As per the log data, the incident unfolded on October 24. As soon as the picture of the log went viral, netizens began to react in all kinds of ways. Most found the entry’s authenticity questionable, while some found it ‘meme-worthy’. Many also sympathised with the cockroach. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “An entry in Air India’s cabin defect log recorded that a live cockroach was discovered by a passenger. The rectification note wryly mentioned that the matter was dealt with… conclusively. Khalaas, Dubai style,” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘jagritichandra’. The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 29K views from netizens. That is an official document only for airline use. I can imagine the Source Network you have,” added another curious netizen. “More interesting and truthful than the normal bollox in an Air India logbook,” added another.
