Bengaluru: Residents in several parts of Bengaluru will experience temporary power outages on November 4 and 6, 2025, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply
Company (BESCOM) undertakes essential maintenance and upgradation work. The scheduled power cuts are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the electricity infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted supply in the long run.
Bengaluru Power Cut: Areas Affected on November 4 and 6
According to BESCOM’s latest advisory, power will be disrupted across parts of Chikkabanavara, Chikkabanavara Grama, Aladamarandoddi, Thammenahalli, Byalakere, Vaderahalli, Kentenahalli, and surrounding villages. The outage will be in effect under BESCOM’s North Division–1, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kempanahalli substation.Why The Outage
The scheduled interruptions are necessary for undertaking system improvement and maintenance activities, including upgrades to distribution lines and transformer servicing. BESCOM stated that these works are crucial to enhance voltage stability and ensure long-term reliability of the power network in suburban and rural parts of Bengaluru.BESCOM’s Advisory to Consumers
