IBPS PO Mains Exam in October; Prelims Soon

The Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) is scheduled to conduct the Probationary Officer (PO) Mains exam on October 17, 2025. Before that,

IBPS will release the result for prelims exam. Once released, the candidates will be able to download the same from official website ibps.in. IBPS PO Prelims exam was conducted on August 17, 23, and 24. The banking exam was conducted at various centers to fill a total of 5,208 PO vacancies. The result is expected to be released by September 25, 2025.

1. One should go to the official website of IBPS at ibps.in.
2. On homepage, candidates should click on IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 link
3. On the redirected page, candidates will have to enter their application number and password or date of birth
4. Post entering the details, result will open up on screen
5. Go through the same and download it
6. Take its printout for future references

In the exam, every wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. To clear prelims, candidates must secure the cut-off in each of the three sections. IBPS will then shortlist candidates category-wise for the next stage. The main exam is scheduled for the second week of October. Results will be available online at www.ibps.in.
