New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an immediate weather warning for Delhi, forecasting spells of rain accompanied by thunderstorms

and lightning. According to the IMD, light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning activity is expected over the northern parts of Delhi during the next one hour. Another spell of moderate to heavy rain, along with thunderstorm and lightning, is likely over most parts of the national capital during the subsequent three hours. Delhi is already witnessing cloudy weather, with rain and thunderstorm activity expected to intensify during the afternoon.
