Chennai residents should prepare for a scheduled power cut today, January 29, 2026, as the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO)
will conduct essential maintenance work. The power outages will affect more than 70 locations across the city, with electricity supply interrupted for approximately five hours.
