A massive fire broke out at a bar in the Satya Vihar area of Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, causing panic among locals. Firefighters rushed to the scene,
and thick smoke was seen rising from the establishment. According to reports, the exact cause of the fire is still unclear. Officials are investigating whether it was caused by an electrical short circuit, a kitchen malfunction, or another possible cause. Firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the situation under control and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby buildings in the densely populated area. Their prompt action helped bring the fire under control in time.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The incident comes days after a major nightclub fire in Goa that killed 25 people, which prompted the Odisha Fire and Emergency Services (OFES) to order a statewide audit of all restaurants and standalone establishments with seating capacity above 100.
