The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the interview dates for the Combined Geo-Scientist 2025 exam. As per the schedule, the personality
tests for qualified candidates will begin on September 23, 2025. The complete schedule can be accessed at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. E-call letters will be issued a few days before the interview. UPSC has clarified that no requests regarding modifications in the personality test schedule will be entertained. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2025 interview will be held in two sessions — forenoon session from 9 am and afternoon session from 1 pm. Furthermore, the authorities will reimburse the travelling cost to outstation candidates for attending interviews or PT boards as per the following conditions: a) Second/Sleeper class train fare (Mail/Express) will be reimbursed if the candidates perform their journey by rail, irrespective of class, in accordance with para 132 of Supplementary Rules. b) Candidates will have to submit hard copies/printouts of tickets (to and fro journey) in case of a train journey, along with the prescribed T.A. claim form duly filled in duplicate. Meanwhile, the UPSC Geo-Scientist Main 2025 result was declared on July 25. A total of 296 candidates were shortlisted for interviews, which included 64 for geologist, 135 for hydrogeology, 69 for geophysicist, and 28 for chemist/chemical posts.
