Tanker Hit By Unknown Projectile
According to UKMTO, the unidentified projectile struck the tanker and caused a fire onboard. The blaze was subsequently extinguished, with no casualties reported among the crew. The crew was reported safe and accounted for after the fire was brought under control.

In another instance, an Indian oil tanker was confronted by a large Iranian warship as it attempted to pass through the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz, also known as the Oman corridor.
