The Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), will close the application window for the recruitment of Security Assistant/Executive tomorrow,
August 17, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates must apply on the official website, mha.gov.in, before the deadline. The recruitment drive aims to fill 4,987 vacancies. Candidates who have cleared class 10 or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board of Education are eligible. The prescribed age limit for candidates is between 18 and 27 years as of August 17, 2025. Meanwhile, those who wish to secure a position in a specific Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) must be proficient in at least one of the language(s)/dialect(s) mentioned for that SIB, along with the ability to read, write, and speak it fluently. - Step 1: Visit the official website, mha.gov.in
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "IB Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment 2025" registration link
- Step 3: Complete the registration process and then log in
- Step 4: Fill out the application form
- Step 5: Upload the prescribed documents and pay the fee
- Step 6: Submit the form and take a printout
Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100, along with a recruitment processing charge of ₹550, via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Challan.
