Who Is Vijay Chaudhary? Vijay Kumar Chaudhary is a veteran Bihar politician. He is considered a close aide of Nitish Kumar. He has been a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly since 1982 and is currently serving as the Cabinet Minister for the Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs ministries in the Bihar government. He has previously held the posts of Speaker of Bihar Vidhan Sabha and Leader of the Janata Dal (United) Legislature Party in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. Before entering politics, he also worked with the State Bank of India. Chaudhary entered politics after his father's death. He is currently representing the Sarairanjan constituency. Who Is Bijendra Prasad Yadav?
Bijender Prasad Yadav is a senior leader of the JDU. He is currently serving as the state's Cabinet Minister for Finance, Planning, and Development. Since 1990, Yadav has been serving as the MLA from the Supaul Assembly constituency. He was first elected to the constituency in the Lalu Prasad-led government. He will take an oath as Bihar's Deputy CM along with Vijay Kumar Chaudhary.
Nitish Kumar Resigned:
Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to the Governor this afternoon, making way for a new Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA government in the state. Kumar, the state’s longest-serving CM, took all by surprise last month when he announced that he was seeking election to the Rajya Sabha. The JD(U) supremo, who turned 75 recently, had led the NDA to a resounding victory in the assembly polls held in November last year.
