Center for Seismology (NCS) -- the nodal government agency monitoring earthquake activity -- the epicentre was located at a depth of 13 km in Uttarakhand's Chamoli. The quake, which logged 4.9 magnitude on the Richter's scale, hit at 10:23 pm, the NCS added.
