Bengaluru: A woman in Bengaluru has been arrested after a video surfaced online showing her verbally abusing traffic police officers in Yelahanka New Town.
The footage, which quickly went viral, captures her hurling obscene Hindi abuses at both male and female personnel during a heated roadside argument. The incident happened on Thursday, 14 August, when two traffic cops stopped her two-wheeler and reportedly placed a wheel lock on it. This sparked a furious reaction from the rider, who began shouting aggressively in public.

In the clip, the woman – wearing a helmet – can be seen confronting the officers while a small crowd looked on. She repeatedly used offensive language and made threats as she defended a man accompanying her, said to be her staff member. At one point, she told a male officer, “Don’t say anything to my staff. How dare you touch his T-shirt,” before turning to the female officer with equally disturbing remarks, including threats to strip her.
The argument lasted over a minute and was recorded by bystanders. Bengaluru City Police later confirmed on social media platform X that the woman was taken into custody the same day. An investigation into the matter is under way.
