Teachers’ Day is just three days away, and students must be busy preparing to make the occasion special for their gurus. Many schools divide students into

groups to decorate bulletin boards. Some students also create handmade cards for their favorite teachers. They pour their hearts into these cards to express how important teachers are in their lives. To make your work easier, we have shared a few creative ideas that can be used for decorating bulletin boards.

• Pick a central theme such as “Teachers Shape the Future” or “Guiding Lights”
• Use charts, cut-outs of books, globes, lamps, and chalkboards to bring the theme alive
• Add handmade flowers, origami birds, or paper butterflies for color and vibrancy.
• Place a big centerpiece (like an open book with “Happy Teachers’ Day” written on it).
• Surround it with short thank-you notes or doodles by students.
• One can also cover the board with black chart paper for a chalkboard effect. Use white markers or chalk-style pens to doodle alphabets, numbers, formulas, and notes.
• Write “Happy Teachers’ Day” in bold chalk-style calligraphy in the center.

Use colorful papers to make cutouts, balloons, and stars to outline the board. Then ask fellow students for handwritten cards specially designed to thank teachers. Add those in the middle with a big heart.
