Bengaluru: Several neighbourhoods across south and west Bengaluru will face a scheduled power outage on Wednesday, December 24, as the Bangalore Electricity
Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) carries out station maintenance works, officials said. According to BESCOM, the disruption is required to undertake maintenance works at the Padmanabhanagar, Subramanyapura and ISRO Layout stations. The shutdown will be in effect from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on December 24.

What residents should plan for
Residents, offices and commercial establishments in the affected localities have been advised to plan their activities in advance, especially those relying on uninterrupted electricity during daytime hours.
BESCOM said electricity supply is expected to be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance work, subject to technical conditions. Consumers have been requested to cooperate during the temporary disruption.
