Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Make in India, Make for the World.' Patel stated that the agreement, forged under Modi's leadership, is set to benefit citizens of both nations and generate new economic opportunities across various sectors.
Impact on Gujarat's Manufacturing Sector
The trade deal is anticipated to significantly enhance exports in key sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petroleum, and gems and jewelry, where Gujarat excels as a manufacturing hub.Patel asserted that the state's manufacturing sectors, along with trade and industry, as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), will directly reap the rewards of this agreement.
Strengthening Bilateral Relations
Patel remarked that the collaboration between the world's two largest democracies embodies a commitment to global welfare. He stated, 'This trade deal marks the beginning of a new chapter in the bilateral relationship between India and America.'He added that the deal will further empower the Prime Minister's vision of strengthening India's presence in global markets.

Patel noted that the 18 percent US tariff on products made in India represents a significant opportunity for manufacturing, MSMEs, exporters, and job creation. He believes this will open new avenues for entrepreneurs and startups to access broader markets.He concluded by stating, 'This agreement will enhance India's global economic footprint.
