The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the advanced city intimation slip for the SSC MTS and Havaldar. The city slips were released today (January
30), and will be available for candidates at the official SSC website. Candidates who have applied for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar recruitment can access the city slip by keying in their required credentials, such as registration number, password or date of birth. "In terms of Notice No. HQ-IT018/4/2024-IT (Comp. No.: 10517) dated 16.01.2026, the candidates of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 (CBE) are hereby informed that the details of the City of Examination are now available. The candidates may view the same by logging in through the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/)," SSC informed in an official notice.
SSC MTS City Slips: How To Download
Step 1: Visit the official website of the respective SSC regional office.
Step 2: Click on the admit card or city intimation slip link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required login details such as registration number and password or date of birth.
Step 4: Click on the submit button.
Step 5: The SSC MTS exam city slip will appear on the screen; check all details carefully.
Step 6: Download and take a printout for future reference.
The SSC MTS city slip link has been activated for candidates across all nine SSC regions, including the Northern, North Western, North Eastern, Western, Central, Eastern, Southern, Kerala–Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh regions. These city slips will feature the name of the city in which the exam centre is situated, but the exact address of the exam centre will be mentioned only in the hall tickets, that will be released four days before the examination.
Check Scribe Rules
The ‘Admission Certificate’ and Scribe Entry Pass for the said examination will tentatively be available for download 02/03 days prior to the date of examination. The same can be accessed through the designated login module on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in/) in a similar manner. Detailed instructions in this regard are available in the Notice published on 26.06.2025 on the website of the Commission.
The candidates availing the ‘Own Scribe’ facility may be required to do fresh Scribe registration on the Commission’s website, as the registration of scribes prior to 05.11.2025 were disposed off.
The Scribe registration has now been integrated with the Aadhaar Authentication. Therefore, it is mandatory that all such personnel, willing to enroll/appear as a scribe, may complete their fresh registration on the Commission’s website.
Candidates who are willing to avail the ‘Own Scribe’ facility in the Computer Based Examination of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 will be required to submit their Scribe’s registration number for generation of their Scribe’s Entry Pass.
It has been decided by the Commission that the maximum permissible age limit of personnel appearing as own Scribe will be 20 years, as per the updated policy issued vide F. N. PP001/14/2024-PP (e-10280) dated 04.11.2025. Candidates who have opted for ‘own scribe’ will be able to map their Scribe OTR till 02.02.2026 (11:00 PM). Scribe Entry Pass will be generated only for those candidates who successfully map their Scribe OTR.
The SSC MTS Tier 1 examination will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test for, and is scheduled to begin from February 4, 2026, and will be conducted in multiple shifts across the country. The sarkari exam will consist of objective-type questions, testing candidates on Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension.
