groups even as the city continues to see clear skies and warm winter days. According to official data, sensitive groups may experience immediate health effects, while healthy individuals could face breathing difficulty and throat irritation, prompting advisories to limit outdoor activity.
Mumbai AQI in ‘Poor’ Category, Health Advisory Issued
With AQI levels in the 101–200 (poor) range, authorities have cautioned that children, the elderly and those with respiratory conditions should avoid prolonged outdoor exposure. The advisory also suggests rescheduling outdoor activities and staying indoors where possible, as pollution levels remain unfavourable.Weather conditions across Mumbai remained dry on Monday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.1°C, while the minimum dipped to 17°C. No rainfall was reported, and humidity levels hovered at 84% in the morning, contributing to mild discomfort.
The seven-day forecast indicates clear skies for most days, with temperatures expected to remain between 30°C and 32°C during the day and 16°C to 18°C at night. December 31 and January 1 may see partly cloudy skies with haze, but no weather warnings have been issued.
