What is the story about?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Main 2026 session 1 exams. As per the official
schedule released by NTA earlier, the JEE Mains 2026 admit cards are expected to release 3-4 days before the examination dates. This time, the JEE Main 2026 session 1 will commence on January 21, so the hall tickets should release anytime after January 17 or 18, 2026. Candidates should note that the JEE Main 2026 admit card will not be sent by post. Candidates are advised to preserve their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.

The following information will be mentioned on the JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit cards:
- Name of the candidate
- Father’s name
- Application number
- Roll number
- Photograph and signature
- Name of subjects opted
- Gender of the candidate
- Date of Birth (As per Aadhar Card/Marksheets)
- JEE Exam Centre, City & Code
- JEE Exam Date and Shift Details
- Category
- State of eligibility
- PwD Status
- Scribe Required (If applicable)

How to Download JEE Main Admit Card 2026
Step 1: Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the admit card link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials and click on submit.
Step 4: The JEE Mains 2026 Hall Ticket will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save it for future reference.
The candidate has to download the JEE Main admit card from the NTA website. The candidate will appear in the examination at the given centre on the date and shift/ timing as indicated on his/ her e-Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre on a date or shift/ time other than that allotted to them on their admit card.
In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown on the e-Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the NTA Help Line between 10:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M. In such cases, the candidate should appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take the necessary action to make corrections in the records later.
