Yesterday, it was a Mumbai man who had ordered food through Zomato for protesters in Delhi; now, another wholesome video is coming forward, which shows
the rest, allegedly from all across India, ordering food and water in bulk for protesters at Jantar Mantar. The clip showed food and beverages kept on a streetside, which was being distributed to the protesters. As soon as the video went viral, netizens began to react. Most loved the gesture and appreciated the “unity” that was being displayed, while others expressed interest in doing something similar. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led Jantar Mantar protest began over a month ago to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET Paper leak. The protesters also held a march to the Parliament in New Delhi on Monday, after which the CJP leaders met BJP's JP Nadda to hand over their demands. Professor and activist Sonam Wangchuk also joined the protest and went on a hunger strike over 20 days ago, which is reportedly still on. However, he was shifted to the Safdarjung Hospital by the Delhi Police last weekend. On Tuesday, July 21, the Delhi High Court heard a plea by Wangchuk's wife, Getanjali Angmo, and shifted Sonam to a private hospital. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post. Check out the viral post: “People from all over Delhi were sending food to Jantar Mantar for protestors! No name, Nothin. Internet’s reaction:
“Not only from Delhi but from across India people have ordered food for the protestors,” a user said. “Students are protesting , opposition is protesting, people from all over Delhi are sending food. Then who voted for bjp?” asked the next person.
“That’s because people knew last time whoever sent food and other supplies to farmers in their protest ED raided them too at the behest of a petty megalomaniac.. this time people chose a smart route,” added another. “This is called standing for humanity in any way possible,” added another.
