The Andhra Pradesh government has confirmed that 261 Telugu citizens remain stranded in Nepal. Officials from AP Bhavan have spoken to all of them and assured
that they are safe.Minister Nara Lokesh has personally spoken to 8 groups of stranded Telugus comprising of total 241 people. With the Kathmandu runway closed until 6 PM today, rescue operations could not commence immediately. However, Indian rescue aircrafts are scheduled to begin evacuations from tomorrow morning, ensuring the safe return of those trapped.
