What is the story about?
Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing back its popular Burrito Vault game to celebrate National Burrito Day, giving customers a chance to win free burritos
for a year along with other rewards. The interactive contest began on Monday and runs daily from 9 AM to 9 PM ET through Wednesday at unlockburritoday.com. Players must log in using their Chipotle Rewards account email to participate. The Burrito Vault: Double Protein Edition challenges players to guess the correct hourly burrito order combination. Those who crack the code can win prizes including free burritos for a year, a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) entrée, and free double protein rewards. More than $2 million worth of prizes are up for grabs this year.
How The Burrito Vault Game Works
Participants get four attempts per hour to guess the correct burrito combination. The code resets every hour, along with the available prizes. Players can win a maximum of one BOGO entrée or double protein reward per hour while competing for the grand prize.
During the “Double Protein Power Hour,” the number of prizes is doubled once per day, with all rewards including double protein options.
