The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today morning issued an advisory guiding students to wait till 2 pm before applying for obtaining scanned
copies of Class 12 answer books. However, students are claiming that they are still not able to login to the portal to mark their request. "It’s already 2 pm and the portal still hasn’t gone live CBSE is such a liar. They’ve wasted one more day. We want more days," an X user tweeted.
"Dear CBSE, students are already stressed enough. Class 12 scanned copy/revaluation portal crashing due to “technical glitches”. Many students faced payment failures while money got deducted. Fix the portal properly and extend the deadlines," another X user tweeted.

"Children are burning in tension and CBSE is acting oblivious to all our problems!! Your stupid site is still not working! What should we do?! When you can't manage a simple website how on earth did you manage to check lakhs of answer scripts without any flaws?! Answer us CBSE!!" another user commented.
Students' complaints come a few hours after CBSE acknowledged that the online application system for requesting scanned answer booklets was affected by “technical glitches”. In an official notice issued on Wednesday, CBSE assured students that a team of experts was working to restore the facility. According to the board, the portal was expected to become operational by 2 PM today.
"It is informed to all stakeholders that the online application for submitting requests to obtain scanned copies of Class XII answer books is presently facing technical glitches. A team of experts is addressing the problem, and the application is expected to be live by 02:00 PM today. We request your patience and cooperation in this regard. To ensure that students seeking scanned copies of their answer books for grievance redressal are given priority, they are requested to avail the facility first once the application resumes," CBSE stated in the official notification.
Meanwhile, the Board has extended the deadline for obtaining the scanned copies of answer sheets for class 12 board exams. As per the revised schedule, students will now be able to apply for obtaining their answer sheets till May 23, 2026. Earlier, the deadline was set at May 22, 2026.
