United States President Donald Trump was again caught on a hot mic complaining about not getting credit for his efforts to halt conflicts around the world.
Trump, during his meeting with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was caught on a hot mic expressing his frustration. Israel's PM Benjamin Netanyahu met Trump at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. This was the first meeting between Trump and Netanyahu in nearly two months, where the two leaders discussed the Gaza peace plan. As reporters were walking into the room, Trump claimed that he "settled eight wars" but did not get his due credit. “Settled eight wars, but we don't know the countries. Azerbaijan... It's good when you can say it...And (Russian President Vladimir) Putin actually said to me, ‘I cannot believe you settled that war because I've been trying for 10 years’. And I literally settled it in one day. Trade. They do trade. I said, ‘We're going to cut you off from trade. No more trade. To both of them...Then I put 200 per cent tariffs... the next day they called.… 35 years of fighting, and they stopped. Do I get credit for it?" Trump complained. So I did eight of them, and then I'll tell you the rest of it,” Trump said. As he eyed reporters entering the room, Trump's volume gradually dropped. Trump revived the India-Pakistan claim once again, despite India's repeated and consistent dismissal of any third-party intervention in the resolution of the May conflict with Pakistan.

“Do I get credit for it? No. I did 8 of them.”
Is Trump the most insecure, narcissistic, attention-starved loser in modern history?

He was also heard speaking of the Nobel Peace Prize being won by a Venezuelan opposition figure. "They gave the Nob(el)..." Trump was heard saying. Amid Trump's push to secure the Nobel Peace Prize, the Norwegian Nobel Committee had announced Maria Corina Machado, a Venezuelan opposition leader and pro-democracy activist, as the winner earlier this year.
Trump made the remarks sitting opposite to Netanyahu, flanked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, his son-in-law Jared Kushner and senior administration officials.
