Bengaluru Power Cut: Bengaluru residents in several parts of the city will face a scheduled power cut on Saturday, with supply set to be disrupted between
10 am and 4 pm, officials have informed. The outage will impact multiple neighbourhoods and key establishments including Marathahalli, Doddanekundi, ISRO, Bagmane Tech Park, GTRE, WTC, and Indiranagar Defence Colony. Other affected stretches include 100ft Road, Indiranagar 1st and 2nd stage, 80 Feet Road, CMH Road, Krishna Temple Road, Jeevanbhimanagar, Geetanjali Layout, 12th Main, BDA Layout, LIC Colony, Thippasandra, Rameshnagar, Tata Housing, BEML, ADA, Malleshpalya, Maruthi Nagar, Kallappa Layout, Basavanagar, Annasandrapalya, Vibhuthipura, Jain Heights, Vishwajit Layout, Adarsha Villa, Kuvempu Road, Krishnappa Garden, Airport Road and surrounding areas. Bengaluru Water Supply Disruption: 60-Hour Cauvery Outage Announced
Bengaluru residents should brace for a 60-hour disruption in Cauvery water supply from 15 to 17 September, as the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) undertakes urgent maintenance work.The shutdown will affect pumping operations under Cauvery Stage V, while additional maintenance is also scheduled at the Phase-1 and Phase-2 pumping stations of Cauvery Stages I, II, III, and IV. This will take place between 6 am on 16 September and 6 am on 17 September.
BWSSB has urged residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during the maintenance period.
