Since the Common Admission Test (CAT) result is around the corner, candidates must be wondering about the institutions accepting CAT scores for admission
into top MBA/PGDM programs. This year, 22 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and over 1,000 business schools across India will offer admissions based on CAT 2025. CAT 2025 revised answer keys were issued on December 17, 2025. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode is expected to announce the Common Admission Test (CAT) result shortly. Although there is no official confirmation, previous year trends suggest that the results will likely be declared between December 19 and 21, 2025.
Understanding the Admission Criteria
The anticipated cutoff for IIMs this year is expected to range between 98 to 100 percentile. The final merit list will be compiled based on a composite score that includes the CAT score, performance in GD, PI, WAT, and the candidates' academic records. This multifaceted evaluation ensures a thorough assessment of each applicant's capabilities.
Institutes accepting CAT scores will employ these criteria alongside additional factors to determine the final shortlist of candidates for their MBA and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes.
