In a shocking video, men waiting for help were swept away in the middle of the Tons River amid heavy rainfall on Tuesday (September 16). The group of people,
reportedly six labourers, is feared dead. This comes as a cloudburst in Dehradun's Sahastradhara early Tuesday triggered heavy rain and havoc across the region. According to the video going viral on social media, labourers are perched on a tractor stuck in the middle of the river. While the marooned men were seen calling and waving for help, people standing on the bank were wondering how to help them. But before they can do anything to save them, the river in spate topples the tractor, sweeping away the men in the river. People on the banks panicked and started running to help them. They even screamed as the tractor overturned, and in seconds, the men disappeared under water.
