Yes, the Telugu actor is trending on Google Trends today, January 06, and the reason somewhat shows the downside of ‘hero worship’ in India– that has repeatedly turned quite chaotic in the past as well. The reason why Allu Arjun is trending on the internet is because of what happened with him and his wife, Sneha Reddy, just a few days ago. A rather problematic video came forward, which showed the actor protecting his wife, as an excited crowd of fans turned haywire around the actor. The incident reportedly happened on Sunday, January 03, when the couple was visiting Cafe Niloufer in Hyderabad- possibly for a quiet evening. It was when the duo was coming out of the cafe that the crowd went out of control. A clip of the same showed the actor struggling to make his way to his vehicle, as fans around him ran in all directions- seemingly to get a selfie. Allu was seen struggling as he tried to keep Sneha away from the crowd. Reportedly, the actor also requested fans to move back so that he and Sneha can move safely. As soon as the reports of the same began to circulate online, netizens began to react. Most found the crowd’s behaviour questionable, while some spoke against India’s ‘hero worship’ culture.
